R.I.P. NaNoWriMo 2006

Last year, I participated in NaNoWriMo and finished, but this year I just can’t find the time to consistently write things that I am interested in. Last year, I didn’t have time to develop a plotline beforehand either, so I adapted the plotline of an excellent Mage game my friend Brian ran for us before I left OH for CA. It isn’t great lit, but at least it kept me interested for 50,000+ words.

I still have a desire to write things, however, so I’m maintaining three blogs, but this one tends to get the least attention. I’m thinking that I’ll use it to post rulse conversions I’ve come up with to convert the Eberron D&D setting to GURPS rules. This is in preparation for a game I may run in the future, using the Eberron setting, which I like and has a lot of cool background stuff for it, and the GURPS rules set, which I think is superior to D&D on a lot of levels. At least, for the kind of game I like to run.

So, if you’re interested in reading and commenting on these converstions, check this blog out now and then, and I’ll start updating. If not, well, I can refer players to this blog if I ever run the aforementioned game, and they’ll have all the rules laid out for their reference.
