I just got back from a wedding and found that I’d passed all of my Ordination Exams. This is exciting for many of the usual reasons, but also because I realized, as I left the Polity Exam, that I didn’t follow directions on one of the questions. I guess I was close enough.
One more hurdle gone.
Congratulations! I’m not surprised you passed, but I’m sure you’re relieved.

Good job. I had a similar experience. I had a question on human suffering and rejected the Calvinist explanation of it with the statement that to use that as a way to direct one’s counsel in the matter of suffering would be an injustice to the sufferer.>>The person reading the exam was clearly not a big fan of that statement, but I passed the theology piece anyway. I still want to find out who that reader was and give ’em a piece of my mind!
